Description
Basic energy for long endurance efforts
When you spend a long time at the limit of your capacity, it is no longer just a question of how many watts you can push — but how many grams of carbohydrate per hour you can take in. CARBO BASIC PLUS was developed precisely to make the most of that maximum intake without irritating the stomach. On no stage will your body have an easier job than taking in this hypotonic energy drink.
Back in 2008 we put our heads together with professional cyclists to find a solution for long distances. They were missing an energy solution that stays well tolerated even under extreme effort — without diarrhoea or nausea.
Its strength: starch. We discovered a water-soluble formula with what was then the highest concentration of long-chain carbohydrates. They pass through the stomach faster, do not draw water from the body, are not too sweet, and help your legs last a long time. After a win at the Race Across America, CARBO BASIC PLUS exploded onto the endurance scene, and it has worn the yellow jersey in our range ever since.
The Raspberry flavour contains 3.6% natural raspberry powder and has a glucose : fructose ratio of 2 : 1.
